Lithium niobate crystal (LiNbO3) is a non-linear optical grade crystal, which is widely used in parametric oscillators, frequency doubling, acousto-optic devices, and optical modulators. The incorporation of MgO can effectively increase the damage resistance threshold of the crystal.
